If you’re new to Lithium Polymer batteries and don’t want to drop $30+ on a charger, this is where to start. Basic or “dumb” chargers will balance charge a battery to 4.2 volts per cell only. They do not have a storage charge or discharge option. We recommend purchasing a Voltage Alarm + Meter to check your voltage on your battery. If your battery will be sitting more than a couple days, you should discharge it to 3.8 volts per cell (storage voltage). You can discharge the battery by using your blaster or leaving the Voltage alarm plugged in for a few hours so the LCD can drain it. Check out our video on chargers for more information:
Blasters should be modified at your own risk by an adult or with adult supervision. Modification of blasters may increase wear and reduce lifespan of blaster. Always wear eye protection. Never point at someone’s face. By purchasing, you agree that FoamBlast is not responsible for injury or damage caused by misuse or accidental usage.
