We’re looking to hire a writer to help us script This Week in Nerf! We love making youtube videos, but unfortunately sourcing and scripting videos is a huge hurdle for us which currently is getting in the way of our creative spirit. We’re looking to add someone to our team to help us research and script This Week in Nerf on a revenue share basis. Our videos make on average $50 per video currently, so we’ll pay a flat fee of $50 per script. If our channel grows and starts making more money, we’ll be happy to increase that rate!
Qualifications
- Experience with a journalism or media production program (High School or College programs are acceptable)
- Availability on Sunday evenings
- Researching skills
- Self driven attitude
- Bonus: a working understanding of youtube’s system
Responsibilities
- Source, research, and outline stories pertaining to the Nerf hobby from the current week
- Fill out sourcing document with links to all relevant sources
- Downloading relevant content for stories (images, videos, etc)
- Collaborating with Michelle and Adrianna to ensure a consistent voice in each video
- Checking sources to ensure information is as accurate as possible
