The return of affordable and plentiful 2S motors is upon us with the Meishel 2.0 motor.  Designed to closely replicate the original Meishel motors, but with a slightly lower RPM to better align with the sweet spot for flywheel friction, and increased torque for faster spin-up.  Motor features a vented housing to aid in dissipating heat.  Motors were designed and tested by Meishel alongside original Meishel motors to meet or exceed the performance of the originals. Meishel motors are not recommended for use with very high crush cages like the Open Flywheel Project cages.  Confused about what motors to buy?  We made a quick primer on choosing motors, give it a watch before you plan your next build! Please do not use these with IMRs or Trustfire/Ultrafire batteries.  Motors sold individually.

Motor specs (@7.4 volts):

  • 33,000 RPM
  • 35mN.m Stall Torque
  • 18.8A Stall Current
  • Recommended for 2S LiPo batteries (3S not recommended)
  • 130 Form Factor

Print on motors subject to change.  Sold individually (not in pairs).
Limit of 20 motors per order.  For larger orders and bulk pricing, please contact Michelle.

These motors are awesome. I was comissioned to rewire a raven and install these motors. After installation, the testing blew my mind. I’ll will be installing these motors in all my personal blasters. They are phenomenal.

  2. Gary Ashby

These are sweet motors that can be dropped into a Modulus with very little modding and work great on a 2s lipo. Thanks for such a superior product!

Thoroughly happy with the Meishel 2.0 motors and Foamblast service in general. I just completed my first Rapidstrike mod and dropped three of these into the project. I accidentally snapped a motor tab off the one I used in the pusher mechanism, but that was my own fault in wire positioning/soldering (I was using 16AWG and it was a particularly tight fit against the blaster shell). I ordered a replacement the next day and had it by the end of the week. 5 stars, all the way!

NOTE: Please use a high capacity LiPo pack. These EAT power when used in single shot (“pulsed” so you’re letting them slow down to stall almost and spinning them back up again) configurations or burst firing. It is also recommended to change your flywheels to a precision machined solution (many exist and I leave it to you to choose one) because the noise will be VERY loud stock. Precision wheels will increase FPS and reduce noise.

These are great motors. They have excellent spin up time and are running fast enough to hit the “glass ceiling” in a standard crush cage. With stock flywheels these will burn darts slightly, but I use Chinese darts and thus do not care if they’re damaged. I have not tested with precision flywheels yet. Stock wheels are LOUD. Very. Loud. My setup is below.

Standard Crush (43mm) Containment Crew cage
    Stock flywheels
    Stock pusher
    2x Meishel 2.0
LiPo 2S 1000mAh Gens Ace Tattu (this suffered damage and was retired, but it was the initial testing battery)
Random Chinese darts of various configurations, ages, and conditions

I love the Meishel 2.0 motors I put them in all my stryfes . Foam blast is the best place to get everything u need for modding .

These are great motors. A friend suggested them when I was ready to start my first lipo powered build. I installed these in a Demolisher with a 43mm ofp cage and white worker wheels. They are powered by a Zippy 1300mah 25c/35c lipo pack and i’m getting around 115 – 120 fps average. I’ll be doing an identical setup in a Stryfe and a Modulus for two of my children here shortly. I’m very pleased with these motors.

Just so awesome for the price, you can use it in anything and get very good results. I actually damaged one of mine putting the Blasterparts Flywheels on them (the whole motor shaft broke through the back since I had already screwed them into the cage and was putting a lot of pressure pushing the flywheels on) so just a warning to anyone planning to do that. I’m gonna have to order another one, but for their time in my otherwise stock blaster they were a huge upgrade.

Thanks for the feedback! When installing flywheels, it’s important to brace the back of the motor as it is merely glued in place. It is not able to withstand much force. We have a tool that should be available this week that helps prevent this very issue. If you contact we’ll send you a replacement motor for the one that was damaged free of charge. 🙂
